Rhode Island E 9-1-1 Uniform Emergency Telephone System Rules and Regulations

+ General Record Requests

  • Individuals seeking their own reports may submit a written request specifying the records sought.
  • Insurance companies / attorneys seeking reports should submit a written request on company letterhead indicating your involvement and/or the party/parties represented and specify the records sought.
  • Agencies seeking reports should submit a written request on agency letterhead indicating your involvement and specify the records sought.

Requests may be submitted via:

  • Postal mail to RI Department of Public Safety Legal Office, 311 Danielson Pike, North Scituate, RI 02857
  • In person at the address above

+ Access to Public Records (APRA)

If you would like to make a request for public records under the Access to Public Records Act (APRA) for documents maintained by the E 9-1-1, please complete the Public Records Request Form below.
